GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Leads and
coordinates the creation and implementation of a strategic plan to promote the
consortium and the project with all stakeholders with special focus on public
authorities, local communities, media, fishermen and environmental
associations.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identifies
the critical aspects related to project consenting by having a constant
overview of the projects fundamentals.
- Ensures
local communities relationship management through all phases of the Project in
order to prevent and resolve potential opposition that may occur with project
implementation, including the organization of public hearings and local
community engagement events and the preparation of subsequent project reports
to be presented during these consultations.
- Establishes
and ensures a regular interaction with public administrations, environmental
associations and other stakeholders to create and reinforce consensus around
the Project.
- Develops a Media strategy and acts as the
responsible for all media relations in liaison with the Communications
Department of OW, to ensure an effective flow of information across the media
agents.
- Propose, define and execute a branding
strategy and a brand manual for the project company and ensure its visibility
at all time of the project development to all stakeholders, together continuous
management of social networks and development of website.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- Degree in
Communications, Media, Public Relations or External Affairs
LANGUAGES
- The project
has an international team of employees and the working language is English.
- Candidates
need to be fluent in Korean and English both spoken and written. Other
languages will be highly valued.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Between 5
and 10 years.
KNOWLEDGE
- 5 years in a similar capacity while promoting
wind or power plant projects
- 8 years general experience in media
communication.
SKILLS
- Excellent
communication skills.
- Strong
interpersonal skills.
- Ability
to easily identify and resolve problems
- Develops
a general overview and understanding of projects.
- Strong
negotiation skills.
- Ability
to work in an international environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Location in
Ulsan, but travelling weekly to liaison office in Seoul, local construction
ports and constructions sites may be required.
